Workshop 2: Prevention
I take pleasure in welcoming the SETRIC project to the workshop taking place in Naestved, May, the 25th to 27th, 2005. Security and Trust in Cities is an important and serious main theme to address in a still more complex and global society.
I am therefore happy to welcome the project partners from the cities of Bologne, Cologne, Paris, Prague, Marseilles and Siena and the partners from Fraunhofer Institute (Bonn), EISTI(Marseilles) and CERTU (Lyon) and to the guests and speakers from these cities and from Denmark.
The main theme on the agenda is improvement and development of Crises Management. And the workshop in Naestved is especially aimed at prevention and prevention tools.
Especially I want to thank the co-ordinator of the project, City of Cologne and Mr. Albert Deistler, for this European Initiative, funded by the European Interreg Funding Programme, and I wish all participants a pleasant workshop and stay in Naestved.
Here is the agenda
